Here’s a gig description for the Welter Brothers at Old Schoolhouse Brewery:
We’re returning to the cozy confines of Old Schoolhouse Brewery in Winthrop on Friday, March 28th from 6-9pm. After our well-received debut there last year, we’re excited to bring our acoustic folk sound back to this historic venue nestled in the heart of the Methow Valley.
As winter gives way to spring in the North Cascades, we’ll share a mix of traditional folk ballads and original compositions that reflect the rugged beauty of the surrounding wilderness. The warm wood interior and intimate setting of the brewery create the perfect atmosphere for our harmonies and storytelling.
The Old Schoolhouse’s excellent craft beers complement the listening experience, and their rustic-meets-refined food menu offers plenty of options if you’re making an evening of it. This all-ages venue fills up quickly, especially on weekend evenings, so arriving early is recommended if you want a prime spot near the performance area.
Whether you’re a local or visiting the Methow Valley for late-season skiing or early spring hiking, we invite you to join us for an evening of music that bridges traditional folk with contemporary sensibilities. No cover charge – just good music, great beer, and the warm community atmosphere that makes Winthrop special.
